Well as I approach my 32nd birthday I have decided to BLOG my year. It is something I have toyed with for a while now, a way to keep people posted on things going on as well express my mind as sometimes I like to do. I plan to share any and everything...the good the bad and the ugly. I also hope to use this as a springboard for my jump into local politics a passion many of you that might read this know I have. I hope to get as much feedback as I can both positive and negative.
For those of you that don't know me, I have been living in Christiansburg since 1987 I have seen things come and go. I love this area and will retire back here someday if I do venture out of my comfort zone of the New River Valley. I have been a Sheriff's Deputy for the last 10 years and have a passion for helping others, I have aspirations of finishing my working career in the medical field as a nurse. I have always wanted to get into politics at some point whether on a local or state scale. I like being involved in decisions that affect my community.
I hope my stories will entertain you, inform you, and make you think a little about yourself. I hope to post daily but with work and other things it might be more realistic to say every other day. I have so much going on in this mind of mine I hope I can put it into words. I'm sure there will be grammatical and spelling errors but I'll do the best I can! I hope you check often and I welcome any comments or concerns. Thanks for letting me share my life with you!
